Recipes from two guys who have always loved cooking.
I can’t say I was really busy yesterday, but I got in late and looked in the fridge for some left overs. To my horror there was nothing except defrosted london broil, sliced super thin by the butcher. I remembered that while I was in Reno this past weekend, Clarissa had ordered Korean beef at a restaurant, but I didn’t get to try it. So craving this, I made a quick marinade (soy sauce, beef stock, spicy sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and a very small amount of mirin) for the beef and broiled the beef (tried to simulate an open flame). Took about 15 minutes with the oven rack close to the heating elements. Didn’t have any other Korean stuff so I just fried up an egg and veggies.
